Well, I can definitely see this being useful for hitting the jabberwonky right in its autocratic maw... however, won’t onlookers think Tim has a collection of doilies at home? I guess that is the risk a hero takes.
The only problem with Tim's harpoon is that he is attached to its rope. Tim needs to hit the target as lethally as he can or else he's going for a ride, Moby Dick style. I should add that his harpoon has been "skewiff" since its last deployment and he has to arc its throw. To the point where he might look he's aiming for an unintended target who could possibly faint understandably as a result of Tim aiming at them.
How about the javelin jerk. Hold the harpoon tip near your nose arm extended in line with harpoon. Take four tiny steps and throw as high as you can. The weight of the harpoon will do the rest.
Granny Style - Tim throws his spear with both hands, underhanded, through the legs. The throw gives him pinpoint accuracy.

His opponents will underestimate Tim and that will be their undoing.

I like it. We’ll use it.... well, we will when Tim finds some rope.
